Chateau de Chargé offers two fully self-contained cottages on site : Les Ecuries, opened in 2011, and La Tour, opening in April 2013. Each are available for one week rentals on a Saturday to Saturday basis, and whilst being completely equipped for self-catering holidays, breakfast is provided at no added charge, and guests may choose to buy into our fabulous chef-prepared table d'hote meals for adults and children served six evenings per week.The pool, garden and play areas are shared with other guests, and are accessible through the front courtyard. As you would expect, the ultra-comfortable beds are made ready for your arrival, all towels and pool towels are provided.
Les Ecuries : Built in the central section of the16th century stable block, this cottage has two bedrooms each with their own ensuite bath and shower rooms on the first floor (comfortably sleeping a family of four or two couples) while downstairs you will find a spacious open plan living area comprising a modern fully fitted kitchen (with dishwasher and washing machine), dining area, sitting/TV space, and doors to a private rear courtyard terrace. €1700 per week including breakfast; €2060 per week including dinner on 6 evenings for 2 adults 2 children, or €2220 for four adults.
La Tour occupies the left section of the original 16th Century stable block. Designed for a couple or couple with baby, this beautiful renovation features a large bedroom with king size double bed, luxurious tiled bathroom including free standing bath, separate shower, double vanity unit and wc. One of the original fortified towers of the chateau has been cleverly incorporated into this cottage, and a door from the double bedroom reveals a perfect cot room for an accompanying infant. Downstairs, guests will find a fully fitted kitchen (including dishwasher and washing machine), eating area, living and TV space. The tower features again downstairs, with a cosy ‘snug’ containing toys and beanbags, ideal for an accompanying infant. €1400 per week including breakfast, €1624 per week including dinner on 6 evenings for 2 adults.
